On December 6, 2008, a sunny day after snow in Weihai, a cutting-edge forum was held in Room 202 at the Harbin building organized by HIT(Harbin Institute of Technology) students. The key speaker was Mr. Sheng, General Manager of Kaer, and the topic today was 10 years experience of research and innovation of Mr. Sheng

The forum was held in questions and answers. Around the theme of scientific research and innovation, students raised more than 10 issues of universal concern. Mr. Sheng either inspired with the story associated, or guide students with his personal experience. Students enjoyed a nutritious and delicious mental feast through his wise thoughts and humor language.

As a manager, what kind of employee do you like most? When asked about this issue, Mr. Shing replied: Kaer most valued team-work spirit. There is a foreign saying that ‘Help your boss is help yourself'. then who is the real boss? The answer is – the staff, so help their colleagues is to help their own! This was what he frequently mentioned when he was communicating with employees.
When asked how college students can improve their research and innovation capacity, Mr. Sheng didn't respond directly, but turned to ask the students three questions:
How many seats are there in cutting-edge forum (202 rooms, G floor)? Have you ever paid any attention to it before?
What do cats and refrigerators have in common? Why do I ask such a strange question?
What have you insisted to do every day for more than a year? What is the experience?

Students were enthusiastic to show their own answers and ideas. After listening, Mr. Sheng said: In fact, the answers to questions raised are just in the three questions. To enhance the research and innovation capacity, we should continue to develop keen observation, rich imagination and persistent determination.
In addition, Mr. Sheng has encouraged the students to learn a number of cultural and historical philosophy of knowledge when concentrating on their professional knowledge, and share and practice business philosophy of Kaer--service creates reputation, innovation improves value.
